use this guide

any good audio store should sell it .

If your headlights blink - then electrical upgrade is needed . U can also have the voltage tested to be sure when the system is playing full blast .....

First of all look at what the amp requires, if that is the only amp you are running except maybe a 4 channel it can be run on 4guage. Do use good rca's.

I have a question on this too, I have 0 gauge from my battery to my distribution block (i used to have a 1600 watt amp that I thought would need it), I now only run little amps (POS's at that, cuz I'm poor :P), is it detrimental to have that big of wire to little amps? I fried the 200watt POS VR3 I had, so far the 250watt Sony Xplod is doing alright..anyone?

If u already have that fat wire - leave it as long as it can fit into the amp , it should not be any harm ...
