I have a Sony 1200 watt amp. And 2 12in pioneer subs, I need to turn in just right to make it sound good. How should I put each on of the 3 levers to it will sound good. And what does BRL stand for on the amp? Thanks Jesse

nah thats your max wattage rating the head unit actually puts out around 20rms..what kind of head unit do you have?

Yeah that could help and if you know what the voltage of your preouts are. It should say on the box or in the manual. That is important and then i could help you adjust your gains close to what they should be at. I whould turn down the bass boost knob. Set your lpf to about 80hz for starters on either your HU or AMP and not both. You can turn it off on your amp if you have that option by going to full or off. I dont know to much about the sony amps but most amps offer simliar controls. Do you have your subs sealed or ported ? |

I know the amp controls but what is your Pioneers Preout Voltage. It should be either 2 volts or 4 volts or 6.5 volts etc... |
