My deck has 4volt preamps times three. I was wondering how important is that in relation to the remote wire for my amps. I gonna run a relay for two of the three amps, and leave the front speakers alone, so when anyone else drives it they can have some radio w/o having to hit the switches. The head unit has a max volume of 35, and even with the right range rms amps, I am still running at the top of the volume range(28-30), to get the loudness up. Am I on the right track to fixing the problem, OR did I just not configure the gains properly. I think they are about 3/4 the way up at the moment. And the better the rca wires the more of the 4 volts make it to the amp?
