I own an older car which has a fairly crap sound system which needs an upgrade. yet i want the head unit to look like an old amplifier yet have all the bells and whistles of a newer system. Does anyone know of such a product as i dont want my "restored to original beauty" volkswagen to have a new looking head unit that will spoil its classic looking interior. |

If you can afford it, go Mac. Doesn't get much more old school than that. It also has modern day technology like fibre optics behind the analog controls. Not cheap though http://www.mcintoshlabs.com/mcprod/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=33&cat=Control+Cen ters+%26+CD+Changers&prodid=1077&product=MX406 If you have room, also get one these babies. http://www.mcintoshlabs.com/mcprod/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=23&cat=Meter+Modul e |
