I am new here, this is my first post. Thanks in advance for the help i will be recieving. This is my setup 1992 Honda Accord EX,6.5 Alpine door speakers,6x9 MTX Rear speakers,2 JL Audio 12w3 Subs,Memphis Belle 16-MC600D 600W 5 channel Amp, Alpine CDA-9855 HU. I've had this system for a few months, minus the Alpine HU. I had a cheap Panasonic c3401. Funny thing is is that i had that panasonic sounding better than the alpine. this alpine has soo many settings. Ive lost my real low frequency bass and cant get it back to save me. I was hoping somebody could help me. i have crossovers on the amp and HU and maybe conflicting. Ive played with the 5 band parametric eq (just guessing with it) and the 7 band graphic eq (alot easier) and i still cant get the bass to hit as low and hard as with the panasonic HU. Maybe some of yall that are familiar with this HU could do some I-personalize setings for me. My login @ http://www.alpine.com/e/i-personalize/index.html is Nugz@nc.rr.com and the pw is nugz. There is a huge post out about the CDA 9855 and i encourage you to read it if you havent... maybe some of your frustration will be worked out....
