Thread: Hooking up amp and subs to factory cd player |

i have a 2000 grand prix gt, and it has steeringwheel radio controls. the aftermarket cd player i have doesnt work with the steering-wheel radio controls, so i want to put my factory cd player back in. i have an adapter that the subs plug into, and from the adapter there are 6 wires that are to be attached to the wiring that goes into the cd player. 2 brown, 2 gray, and 2 white. in the harness thats in the car, there are 2 gray, and 2 brown. there are no white wires. where do i connect them to, and am i supposed to connect al 6 wires into the harness? also fromt he harness from the aftermarket cdplayer thats in there now, theres an uncoated wires connecting to a blue wire. do i just cut that and attach that to the wiring harness in the car? thank you! |
