I recently had a panasonic deck stolen out of my car. I had an old pioneer in for a short time but now I saved up the money to buy the same panasonic unit back. Problem is, this one seems to go into attenuation mode for a second and then says "SEE YOU" and shuts my music off. There is no rhyme or reason to it. It does not happen when playing loudly anymore than playing quiet and makes no difference if i use windshield wipers or headlights. I double checked my connections and they seem solid. Is there some sort of power sag causing the unit to shut off? If so, why does the unit remain on, displaying the clock, but ends my cd and displays "SEE YOU" as if i pressed the power button. Could I try running a direct lead from the battery to power the HU instead?

The ignition wire (red) is loose or is getting intermittent power. The unit still partially functions because it is still getting power from the battery constant (yellow).
