Ok i was installing my head unit and i had everything hooked up but the remote wire. when i was hooking up the remote wire the ground hita metal bracket in the car. Now, my head unit doesn't work...i checked the fuses in the car and the inlines in the back of the head unit and they are still good...is it blown?...i would have thought that if it was blown then the inlines would have went before it did anything to the head unit it but obviously its not...help me?! |

Check for a back up fuse or if that unit has any internal fuses or a reset switch. I had a simular problem with my alpine, ended up being a back up fuse under the hood. swaped it out with another one, worked perfect again. |

Also just take a test light and see what power you have at the radio harness.If you have power double check the ground, and some antennas need to be in the radio. |

Yeah, i'm also betting a fuse was blown at the main fuse panel... |
