any of you guys have this head unit? I've tried a few setting that i found on the web but I still have to much treble. I never had a stereo set up before so I'm new to all of it, I'm used to a settings for bass, med, treb. So I'm pretty lost with it, any help anyone could other up when be great.

this is my set up
I have a old alpine 3311 cross over/EQ. Should I put it in to help with cutting the highs?

the components can be set to about 120Hz high-pass, 12dB slope
turn off any EQ presets, and disable the MX feature.
if the comps are still too bright, use the parametric EQ feature to decrease the treble range a bit on the head unit.
it's all in the manual for how to access these settings.
you can also download the manual in PDF form from alpine1.com in the archives
