i know police dont use CB's but they uses somthing..just wondering what they are using?..

and would their be a place where someone can buy them

You can purchase used police radios from auction sites or eBay.
Any decent scanner will pick them up. If you do some google, you will find their frequencies. Not hard at all.

one more thing...are police scanner legal...

i just want one to set it up to CB channels and other freq.

and can i some how connect it to my cb attena, like will the connector fit or will i have to make it fix?

Canada allows anything to be monitored but you may not disclose details of a conversation not broadcast to the general public.

and for cb radios, what freq. are they for AM,FM, and the other one...umm i thing its like SSR or SS_ somthing.

i might just get a nascar scanner..i saw one on e-bay...somthing along those lines

Don't get the nascar scanner. It's a waste of money. Get a proper, open scanner. It will receive everything in the air.
You can't mix cb antenna with scanner. Different frequencies.
The CB is AM, and it's between 26Mhz - 27Mhz. There's also SSB for long distance communication. Well it's longer than CB, which is limited to 5 miles.
If you love travelling and talking, then get a unit that is AM/FM/CW/SSB. It'll give you lot of channels and choices.

Does anyone know of a site where I can find the frequency to pick up my local police in UK?
