My JVC changer is totally wacked. Sometimes when I turn a corner while driving, one of the channels will go out. If i switch to that channel to see if it's still working, i can hear sound but it's low and distorted. when i eject the magazine and reinsert it works fine until it decides to go out on another turn. I've checked the cable for possible problems but everything is ok. Can someone help me or should i take this thing out of my car and tap dance on it?

I have a JVC 12 disk changer and when turned on it just says R-8. Whats does this mean help, help help!!!!!!

R-8 lists as communication error. Could be anything from bad cable or connection to dead main unit. If it ejects and cycles then check connnectons. Also try resetting.
