1 preout on head unit.. to eq with 1 preout.... to 2 amps..

if i have built in crossovers on my amps and im using line out to feed signal to the other amp.. will using the built-in crossovers affect the signal thats lined out? And would there be a amp that the signal should go to first.. (example: should input go to bass first then to mid/high amp or reversed or does it matter?)
