I don't know the amperage on the stock alternator, but I know it is low. I cannot find a HO alt for it so I was wondering if there was anything I could do to have the ability to run lets say for example 3000 watts RMS. Sorry for two different questions in a row.

absolutely not lol...3000 watts rms requires over 200 amps alone...you would need a 300 amp alternator...not to mention probably 2 grand in equipment...

I got my 220 amp alternator from dominick iraggi...he custom builds them upon order for any car...contact him for a quote at dominick@tds.net

that would require roughly 71 amps from the stereo alone...your car probably needs 50 amps or so...so roughly 120-140 amp alternator would suit you...you can also find HO alternators on ebay...someone also talked about a nathan guy that makes them...i don't know how to contact him though but someone else here will.
