I am having problems with my alpine MRV-F357 amp. My stereo has worked great up until recently...

I can play a cd or listen to the radio for about 4 minuntes and once I hit this the stereo begins to start and stop. The Alpine deck shows that the cd is still playing and progressing and I believe it possibly is a short in the amplifier. Again everything works great for about 4 mins then after that the music cuts in and then out, when out there is nothing being played. I checked the fuses on the amplifier and made sure all cords etc where hooked up and aside from it getting very very hot everything seems to be in tact.

If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it! Thanks.
