i need a download for a 50hz sine wave to set my gains on my amp by. i have a multimeter. and if im correct you take this formula to figure it out.

SQRT (2*500)..since the RMS is 500 and the final load on the amp would be 2. so i would need a voltage of around 31.62

any help would be awesome..especially if you could link me to a download

thanks alot, but im having issues with the multimeter readings. im only getting readings of like 2.2 or 3.1..stuff like that, im not getting readings of 31 like i need. im new to the multimeter type thing...so any help figuring outr the settings would be awesome
