I backed off buying the Kicker KX1200.1 today in favor of more research and shopping. I discovered tonight that this Orion 1200D can be had for approximately the same price online. I know Orion is listed as "Highly Recommended" on "The List", but I'd like some opinions here.

Is the Orion superior?

I personally would take the Orion over the Kicker anyday, not saying the Kicker is bad, though.
