I've been looking to amplify both an Infinity Kappa Component set and the rear Kappa 6x9's. Money is sort of an issue, under 400 would be nice. My question is has anyone heard the e series amp, I was looking at the 4300, and would it push these pretty good? Also, I saw on JL's website where you can get the 300/2 and wire both speakers in parallel and put an 8 ohm, 25W resistor on the rear speakers. Which do you think would be the better bet, also I'd like to know what kind of power this configuration would send to both sets of speakers if you know or can find out.

I would suggest running the components and the 6x9's off of seperate channels, which will allow you to fade from to back, and to adjust the gain to provide a front soundstage. Any good amplifier that puts out 50x4 or higher (RMS) should do nicely.

That's what I thought. Would Jl's e4300 work pretty well, it's 45X4 at 12.5 VDC, how much louder and cleaner than a Pioneer 50x4 head unit do you think it will be?
