My front speakers are 4x6s and the drivers side speaker becomes distorted intermediatly at any volume level, but worse at higher levels. Its seems to start with songs with a lot of bass then after a while it goes away and everything sounds perfect.
Please help

Yeh cause the cd player is prolly running lower power later maybe. I would put speaker savers on them unless you can lower the octave slope on your radio.

it's because they aren't made to handle low frequencies...thats why it happens on songs with lots of bass...set your crossover on your headunit higher or use the eq to cut the low end a little more...if you have an amp hooked up to it, raise the crossover frequency
