Not sure what to get for my front speakers, infinity kappa 6-1/2 2 way speakers or..... 6-1/2 component speakers with the tweeter thing, which would be better for me? Do i need an amp with one and not for the other? thanks

You should put a amp on really both. you will get alot better sound from the tweeters. They will require a bigger amp though. Use a Dynamat Door Kit for the components,or speaker kit for just the 2-3way 6.5's.

a 2 way speaker is more convenient to install.
a set of separates will yield better imaging and usually, better power handling due to the flexibility of positioning for the tweeter, and the use of an external crossover respectively.
