Ok here's my problem .. I'm running two 15" alphasonik 800 series subs both running at 1800rms combined and the amp. Powering them is a 1800 rms alphasonik amp.. When a certain low note hits my light dim. I kno it could be the alternator. I have a 2farad cap with it will a higher farad cap do the job or must I have a rebuilt higher amp alternator? |

http://stores.ebay.com/Iraggi-Alternator-and-Electronics_W0QQssPageNameZVIStoreH eaderLinksQQtZkm? you would need to email dominic iraggi and ask him about your specific car. i don't see one beyond '01 for a malibu. i got the amputator w/lifetime warranty. most importantly, i don't think there is any reason for you to spend on a HO alternator w/just 1800 watts. i would upgrade my big 3 first. http://forum.sounddomain.com/forum/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=5;t=007801 i'm pretty certain this will fix the problem for a bunch less (copy the whole link and paste it). |
