I just bought a JL Audio 12" W6 v2 d4 Subwoofer. I have an Phoenix Gold OCTANE R5.0:1 MonoBlock Amplifier will this amp be able to power my new sub. The amp is 500 watts at 2ohms and 250 watts at 4ohms |

Even though the subwoofer is 4 ohms I can still run the amp at 2 ohms |

na its dual voice coil, so connect the voice coils in parallel and it will be a 2 ohm sub. |
