i'm in the market for a new amp for my 12" W6v2. I narrowed it down to a phoenix gold xenon amp. what i'm wondering is should i get the x400.1 or the x600.1 they have the same features as the JL slash amps, and cost alot less. I know the x400.1 will hit the rms of the sub prefect, but JL underrates their subs, will a x600.1 make a noticable difference without compromising SQ or reliability? |

I always go for more power than I need because you can run the amp at a lower gain and not push it so hard. Go big. Room for more power down the road if you want to get another sub or a bigger one! |
