Ok, I am getting SO frustrated trying to remove the cd... So here's the problem:
Lately my cd player (stock, in dash cd player with cassette) has been getting really hot (don't know id this has anything to do with it) but anyways, I put a burned disc in, (it ALWAYS plays burned discs) and i stopped listening to the cd, and turned on the radio. ABout 20 minutes later, i pressed the CD button, and and it read DJ, then flashed CD ERR. which would mean Disc Jammed, and CD error, right? Well, I tried to take tweezers and get the cd out, but it wont budge, because these two little white things within the player pop up, making me unable to get the cd out....
Ok, so to make a long story short, lol, How the HELL do I get this CD out, and how do I make my player work again? I need my music! LOL< Thanks so much!!!

You're going to have to remove the unit from the dash and open it up. Then you're going to have to remove the CD mechanism from the unit and find the right gear that controls the eject function and turn that gently until the CD comes out.
One thing about burned discs and car cd players...never put paper/sticker lables on them. A marker is always sufficient. Many, many of the labels get caught on the top piece of the cd player and cause the cd to jam. |
