What amp would be better for 2 JL w3v2 d2s.............a JL 500/1 or a JBL BP600.1 !?!??! please help me out here!

Ya but the jl has 500 watts into 1-4 ohms. That's pretty cool and makes it universal for a future system. But then again the JBL is way more cheaper. |

Go for the JBL. It'll save you some dough and it will give you more power. MORE POWER = HITTING HARDER, just to spell it out for you. |

In fact there is a guy in here selling a JBL 600.1 just a few posts down. He says $150 shipped. That is a great deal. I would jump on that if he hasn't already sold it. |

so which one would you get? does the JBL 600.1 over heat and shut off sometimes? i want some thing that will make my subs hit reeeaaally hard and something that will be reliable! |

I would go with the JBL 600.1 JBL makes great amps and It will sound good. It will also hit harder. The JL probably would sound a little better but it also cost quite a bit more so if you want better sq(and have more cash) go with the JL |
