My CD's, new old, scratched, unscratched keep getting error messages and will not play. I have cleaned the unit, tried blowing an air duster into the player. Sometimes after the car has been running a CD will play, but there is no consistent factor. Is something just worn out? I need tunes!

you should probally just buy a new HU, if its 7 years old then no wonder why its having problems. the thing that reads the CD is probally dirty/scratched/worn out and its not really worth it to get it fixed. i would suggest to get a new one...unless anyone else has any other suggestions |

They can get a used one and swap CD Mechs...normally that fixes Sony's CD player problems... |
