Hey there i am having a problem installing a clarion cd dxz745mp into a windstar. i have connected the ignition , constant power and earth wires and when i switch the car on the only thing the player will do is make a noise like when it's ejecting a cd and doesnt do more than that. It's already the second dxz745mp wich i try to install and all same...what could be the problem? |

Can you tell us how you have the wires connected(color-wise) to the windstar's harness? i.e. Ignition connected to Yellow/Black
Also, what year is your Windstar? |

Windstar is 1998... Thick yellow (15A)on Clarion connected to green/Black on Windstar, thin yellow (3A) on Clarion connected to Yellow/Black on Windstar, and Black to black of course. |

Ah, the thin 3A yellow wire should be hooked up to the same wire as the thick 15A yellow wire. In the 3A wire's place, connect the red wire instead. |
