Rick D, its one of the best head units ever. I whould get it in a heart beat if you can find it. Just make sure you get it from a authorized dealer. I found one on ebay from tristateaudio and they have a authorized dealer in NJ at a mall but sell stuff on ebay. |

Rick it does have a memory card slot, and yes it is a great deck. I have one and I love it. The 8454 is also a great deck. It basically has the same options, MP3, memory stick, and so on. The only big diffrence is the options for SQ and processing. The 8455 gives you more control when it comes to your EQ, time delays and so on. If you want some more info check out this link. www.caraudiocentral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1416 |

I swore never to buy anothe sony product again after they screwed me on my HDTV. I was going to get this unit but if they are using sony to support them I guess Im going to have to go with clarion now. + Memory stick is overpriced anyways. |

I wouldn't give up on the Eclipse just because of the memory card. Lol, you musta had a really bad experience with that TV. Not EVERYTHING Sony makes sux, mainly just their present car audio junk. Let Jeremy explain how easy it is to set up your system for a flat response using the supplied mic, memory card, and Eclipse's website. Pretty nifty deal. They do all the EQing for you. Heck, here's a link to his review: http://www.caraudiocentral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1416 Very impressive feature. -Fishy |
