I have a dilema...I got rid of my JL 2-12w3's and now i have a Phoenix Gold Tantrum 500.2 amp that i want to use for full range speakers. The car has 4 door speakers and one factory 9"subwoofer. I wanted to replace the 4 door speakers with full range ones that each have RMS-100W and the 9"sub with a full range 9" that has 170W-RMS, all the speakers have 4 ohm imedence. The Phoenix Gold is Tri-Linear with means you can have both channels and the bridged-mono all at the same time.
My Question: Can i set this up the way i explained? that is, 2-100W (200W peak) speakers on each channel (= 4 total speakers) and 1-170W (340W peak) speaker bridged over the channels? Any help is greatly appreciated!
