I have a pair of kappa 6.5 ran by a us acoustics 4 channel amp. for some reason, they give me a huge headache and make my ears hurt when i listen to them. is there anything i can do short of replacing these speakers. Has anyone had this problem and found a good alternative?

anything turned up too loud will give you a heacache.
You may also have them wired out of phase, or any number of other issues.
have a qualified installer listen to the system and see if s/he hears anything out of whack. The installer can then suggest possible problems.
It's hard to do from here though.

tune the speakers with the gain controls on the amp. Set the gains where the speakers play at a comfortable level for you when you have the HU cranked.
