F***! i got a 1995 toyota avalon midsize 4dr sedan and its a big car-- F****** 4 inch speakers in the door!!! my subs are gonna drown out all my music.. so what i was wonderin is if i should go the ghetto way and get 2 6x9's and put them in a box but thn thats going to add even more bass to my car so im just looking for any option like building a box putting it under the seats or somthin

had the same prob with my old rodeo. drove me nuts. i considered the same thing. looking at your doors though, i think they can be easily altered to fit a 5.25 or 6."

Do not get 6x9 speakers for sound quality. Instead make your 4" hole to fit 6.5" components.
Whoa, that sounded a bit x rated.
