I recently purchased a Denon DCT-R1 HU, but only have a pair of alpine 6.5' speakers in the doors, and nothing at the back, the rear has holes for some 6x9's, Any suggestions as to what i can put in? If i use no amps at all, will the speakers disort or clip?

You don't have to use rear speakers, and alot of SQ people don't. If you do want to run rears, look into some 6.5, and use an adapter. You will be alot better off that way. If you would like more details check out these links.

i would get an amp for the front 6.5's. like jeremy said, forget the rear fill. if you are going to tune your front stage, you won't need them imo (touchy topic). cover the 6x9 holes with grills and use them to help funnel any subs you might get to the front cabin (nice hu).
