i have just put in a kenwood cd deck with some 6*9 into a hyandai excel but there seems to be a problem with the bass. The thing is there is no bass. The speaker hardly viabrates. I know it is not the speakers because i have tried them in a different car(and they were perfect) and i do have the poles connected up right. So my question is does the sound very from car to car? Or do different cd dects play different sounds?

You may need to set up the EQing and maybe turn on that Loud setting for your 6x9s. Check your manual for any EQ settings.
Careful with use of loud setting if you have subs installed.
