My frind wants some subs for his car. I have 2 audiobaun q 10" 1000w subs and itwas 2 much for him so he said he wanted less and he has a price limit of $50.00 he has a box for a 10" and a amp but no sub. i found these and which one do you think he shuld buy???

im thinking bout a 400 watt cervin vega for 40 or a audio baun 400 watt for 40. or a jense 500 watt for 50 |

What kind of amp is he running and how much power does it put out?
If you can help it, try to stay away from Jensen...I would suggest getting an MTX or Rockford Fosgate if you're in that price range. Type this number into an ebay search: 5773972373 It will take you to an auction that ends VERY soon, but I think will be a great deal for your friend. For something that handles more power(still don't know what the amp puts out) type this number in an ebay search:5773063337 |

Hmm, not bad. Cerwin Vega is a good brand. The auction with the Rockford Fosgate(5773972373) has the same specs as that Cerwin Vega and is much cheaper(but a bit higher in quality)...plus once he pays fore shipping and handling for the CV, he's already gone five dollars over his budget... |

Audiobahn isn't that great of a brand and that particular sub would be very underpowered with the amp he has... |

OK, I have a problem.. Heres what all I have right now, I Starting at the head unit, Eclipse, last years model. I have2 6.5 elcipse speakers in the doors, 2 2.25'' bose in the dash, 2 6x9 alpines in the back for mids, 2 12'' boston acoustics G2's in a vented box, with an ample audio Class D mono block amp 2200 watts. My problem is i was cranking it today and all of a sudden the bass stopped. I hooked the amp up to my friends system and it works fine. I'm thinking that it has somthing to do with the head unit, im not getting not even a little bit of sound out of them. I anyone is fammilliar with the eclipse decks let me know please. Thanks |

The amp is turning on but not making my subs hit, but the mids still work, "they dont have an amp hooked up to them" |

well. i fount out what is was, haha, i forgot the subs Boston aqoustics have 2 fuses in each sub, 1 out of 2 on each sub were blown. |
