I just bought a new Civic Hybrid and I want to put a very decent system in. I want to keep it around $1500. I am buying the components. I bought the HU yesterday and will be purchasing the rest in the days to come. All Alpine components: CDA-9851 CD/MP3/WMA Receiver $279 + tx - MRP-M350 Class-D Mono Sub Amplifier - SPS-171A Component Speakers - SPS-170A Coaxial Speakers - SWS-1042D Type-S 10" Subwoofer I would like to hear your opinions and recomendations. I listen to just about everything some hip hop like the Black Eyed Peas, Del, and Eminem. Some rock, Wilco, AcDc, Kid Rock. I am not interested in haveing the loudest system on the street nor do I want to have the Base that deafens the ppl in the car next to me. I want a high quality sound that is loud when I need it but impressive inside most importantly. Thanks in advance for you input. DN |

Your setup looks good. You might want to get a small amp to power your component set, it will give it more of a natural sound and additionally make it louder. |
