I understand that this varies but I'm trying to get an idea.
I'm looking at a SCOSCHE RSA2900F 2-WAY FM ALARM & REMOTE START.

Now, the shop quoted me $650 and will do whatever is done so I can control roll-up/roll-down my windows with the remote.

But, as you can see, the unit on that site is going for $230; I've seen it on other sites for $210. Am I missing something here? Seems like $420 is awfully high for just installing it.

What SHOULD I be looking to pay for a 2-Way Alarm/Remote Start w/Turbo Timer? I could care less about the window roll-up/roll-down thing.

Thanks for any help! Just tryin to NOT get ripped off.

OH, I should say it's getting installed in a 2001 VW Jetta w/Manual Tranny.
