I'm almost positive that it can't be done without modifying the unit internally. |

Sorry to change the topic a little, but that would be a cool trick. I have the Pioneer Premeer DEH-P640 if you know any cool stuff I can do to it. |

You hold the source button until the unit turns off and then hold the function button. Then there is a menu you can go through to change the clock and turn the beeping on and off. |

I'm sure you can take out the internal speaker that makes the hideous sound. |

Alan Girard is correct. You have to turn off your deck and hold down the function button. It's part of the DFS Alarm. Atleast that's what I think it's called. Trust me, it's in there. I just got an ampl installed and they reset my radio. I had to go in and turn it off again.

The 670MP doesn't have DFS alarm, so the only beep I can think of that he might be talking about is the warning tone when you turn the car off. If that's it all you have to do to turn it off is hold down the source button until the unit turns off, then hold down the function button until you see the clock, then press function until you see the word "Warning", and press up or down to turn it off. |

If that doesn't make sense here's the manual: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pio/pe/images/portal/cit_11221/192089347DEHP67 0MPOperationManual.pdf It's on page 41. |
