I have 3 MTX Thunder 6000,4 ohm(i think)svc speakers, wired in parallel, and i just bought a sony xplod xm-d1000p5,1600 watt amp(used). the amp is a mono-channel amp. Can i run 3 speakers from it? How do i hook it up? There are 2 right positive terminals and 2 left negative terminals(i think). Do i hook the wires on one set of L/R,or + on one side, and - on the other side? The amp has a protect/power light. It lights red and green. Which color light is power, which is protect? I hooked it up at first and the light was green, and i didn't get any sound. I changed the terminals around a little, and the light was red,but i still didn't have any sound. Iam using 4 ga. power cable, and i tried 2 sets of rca cables just in case.Any suggestions?
