ppi a400.2 amp = 50x4 @ 4 ohm.
image dynamics cxs52 5.25" components= 50 watts 2ohm
idq-10 sub = dual 2ohm 250 watts
Will this all work together? Thanks to anyone who will let me know. |

Running both the comps and the sub off that one amp? You'll probably need something more powerful for the sub. |

Thanks David....That's what I was afraid of...I just want to run 1 amp, and was thinking that bridged I would be giving it 200 watts of good power...was just hoping....back to the drawing board. |

If you keep your gain turned down you shouldn't encounter any problems. Just keep the gain/level down to almost nothing. |

Thanks David. mounting depth, my 70 amp alternator, money, and my needs are pushing me in the direction of a smaller system. I just want better than stock..not trying to go crazy at all (obviously), so a 50X4 won't cut it? Won't a 50 X 4 give me 200 watts to the sub? Why is this not enough? The sub is only rated at 250 watts. So you are saying go for a 75x4? Just think if I do that I should change my components. Any thoughts? Thanks |
