I would take the MTX over Fosgate. First Fosgate amps are more money for less real watts than MTX amps. Next Fosgate amps run hotter than MTX amps. The Fosgate amps might be built a little better and they look a lot better than the new MTX amps. |

Both are really good amp's. With that said, I would go with the Rockford. Sure it is a little more money, but in my apinion, it is 1 step abuv MTX. |

For the money, MTX makes a great amp. I don't think there is anything wrong with fosgate, aside from being a little overpriced. Also, some people don't like their newer amps because they aren't as good as their older amps. I guess they feel the company let them down. |

Everyone says that, but I haven't seen any proof to back that up. On RF's website, it shows the spec's of the old mottle, then the specs of the new mottle. There isn't much of a difference, if any, the new ones have been improved. |
