Is there any way that I can hook a 8 Ohm 300 watt PA to a 4 Ohm 1200 watt amp car stereo with out blowing it?

If your amp is 8 ohm stable it will work fine, because you probably have a single voice coil? If you have dual vc's you can simply run them in parallel to 4 ohms.
