Could i take the chip of a RF1000bd amp and swap it into a RF1001bd without any notice of difference? I'm not trying to sell this to anyone |

I did that to a Punch 40.2 took out the chip and put in another chip from another fosgate amp (forgot the model) But you cant really tell the difference well it kind of did hit a lil harder. but not much |

its for warrenty reasons. I lost the receipt and i'm trying to get around it.. but shhhh. lol. I'm thinking about buying a 1001bd if i cant find a 1000bd & swaping the chip into my 1000bd. They have like the same ratings. then putting my blown chip into the rf1001bd. Then send back ect. Think it will work? |
