I have just got myself a JBL GTO 2000 400 watt amplifier, and a GT4-10 10" Sub. I have already installed a set of 300 watt 6"x9" three-way speakers into my partial shelf, and was wondering if I could connect my 6”x9”’s to my amp. Is this a good idea or not as I am new to all this. |

usually people get 1 amp for there speakers and 1 amp for the subs because subs naturally(depending what you get normally the watts on subs should be higher) have more watts then regular speakers |

If that amp is 4ch then yea.You could hook up your 6x9s to two of the ch. then bridge the other two and hook your sub to it,but make sure if the sub is single 2ohms or dual 2ohms that your amp is 2ohm stable bridged. |
