I don't see any real discernable diference except one has a better OEL screen. Why is the 860MP like $100 more the P7700? |

I think the key difference between the two is the fact that the 860MP has a 24 bit Burr-Brown D/A converter. Also, it steps up to 4v preouts as opposed to the 2.2v on the P7700. |

Odd...the Pioneer website says 6.5v but Crutchfield says 4v. |

What do DAC's do? DAC means digital to analog convertor right? Would it be better to have a deck with just analog? |

You are probably confusing the Premier model with the normal. The normal models have 4V, the premier decks have 6.5V.
