What about 3 15's wired in series to create a 4ohm load....My Orion amp is stable at 4ohms bridged. Do you think can handle the power of 3 subs without blowing? |

Subs don't create power. They're electromechanical transducers which simply means they convert electrical energy from an amplifier to mechanical then acoustic output. I'd think 3 15w6's off a decent sized Orion would sound good...... if you got room enough for the box that is. :P -Fishy |

Oh and it would be better to wire the voice coils in series(3 12 ohm subs) and then wire the subs in parallel for a 4 Ohm mono load. http://www.jlaudio.com/tutorials/wiring/index.html#3dvcsp 5th diagram down from the top. -Fishy |

thanks for the diagram, but I already had it. I have 4 JL audios but I plan on selling the 4th one. The amp I got is 900W rms at 4ohms, so it should be ok.? |
