i know i have asked this before but i'm trying to understand. i am planning on getting components and was going to get a zapco ref350 2 channel amp to power them. now whenever i go to my local audio shops, they start showing me 4 channel amps for the components. am i supposed to get 2 channel or 4 channel? correct me if i'm wrong, but wouldn't they just be wiring a 4 channel amp that is say 50w X 4 so that it does 100w X 2? i'm sorry i don't know the technical term for that, but that's essentially what they would be doing correct? so i should just stay with the 2 channel right? thanks in advance. |

I think they're trying to sell you the 4 channel amp cause maybe they think you want to power both the front and rear speakers? If that is not your intention, then stick to 2 channel amp. |
