Hey, I have had my Pioneer DEH-P3600 HU in my Jimmy since about December and now it won't eject a cd right. I have to hit the eject button and push hard right under where the cd comes out then it only comes out part of the way. I bought it brand new off of Ebay so I don't have the receipt. Would one of those discs that cleans your cd player fix it. I mostly drive around on dirt roads could dust got in there and messed it up? How could I fix it? |

The discs to clean the CD player only clean the lens which reads the CD. Unfortunately, this is a mechanical/ejecting problem, so don't waste your money on one of those.
Dust probably did get in there and from your description and the fact that you have to press down right under where the CD comes out, I would guess that the mechanism to raise the rollers isn't engaging properly, if at all.
You can try opening it up and spraying some compressed air in the CD mech, especially where the rollers are. |
