I have 2 Alpine SWR-1222D subs (05 model @ 500W/sub). So I need some help with choosing a good amp in the $250 price range that will push a clean 850-1000W RMS at 2 ohms. Any information on quality brands, models, and places to buy will be helpful.

You are going to need to save up some more cash for quality stuff. But if you need it now I think the Hifonics BX1000D would fit the bill
