I recently bought 2 jl audio w3's the amp that was suggested to me was a PowerAcoustik PS2-820 820W 2 Channel Power Amp is this gonna be too much or too little. Im realy new to this and i have been trying to learn more... Also i was told that i'd probably need a 1 farred cap because all this is going in a 02 lancer...please some one help a brotha out!!!

I would get a better amp! you have good subs there dont power them with cr@p like power acoustic. Look into like a jl 500/1, Kicker 600.1,JBL bp 600.1, something like that. what series are the subs dual 2ohm,4ohm,or6ohm? that will play a large role in the selection of a good amp. also what is your budget? |

Thank you for the reply i appreciate the help.
Well my budget is about 200 bucks but i can push it. I figured that since the subs are used that i wouldn't want to push them to hard. Available Configurations: Dual 2 ohm, Dual 4 ohm or Dual 6 ohm i copy and pasted that from www.woofersetc.com and they are also dual voice coils. i just want them to bang kinda hard and sound good. |
