between the jl audio 1000/1 and the zapco reference 1000, which of these amps would be better, more quality. please let me know thanks |

That's a tough one. They're both great amps. I'd go with Zapco cause it's class AB. If you don't have HO alternator, then JL 1000/1 will be a better fit.

More quality goes to the Zapco. Main benefit of the JL is it's accomodation of different impedances and less current draw. If you plan a 2 ohm load, get the Zapco. Both can draw more current than most if not all stock alternators can provide. |

will you really notice the sound quality improvement between these two amps since it's powering a sub? also the zapco reference is zapco's lower line of amps and would still be better than jl audio, wow. |
