If I run Orion 6.2s in the front (3ohms) and Concept 5.25s in the rear (4ohms), what would the ohm load be to a 2ch amp if run parallel? |

Hey Kojak28, if you wire 3ohms and 4ohms in parallel, you will get around 1.71ohms total. |

It will be very close. Only one way to find out, get a DMM and measure after they're wired. Not all speakers are created equal. Some of the 3ohms are 3.5ohms and some of the 4ohms are 4.5. So if you're lucky, the resistance might be 2ohms.

Good point....BUT after I get everything wired up and I spend $1k buying my equipment, and it doesn't work, I'll prolly have to sell and start over. Sux. |
